In response to this alarming situation, the DCA has issued a 'Spurious Drug Alert and Stop-Use Notice' for all products associated with 'Meg Lifesciences.' Consumers and healthcare professionals have been urged to immediately cease the use of any drugs claiming affiliation with this fictitious company.

Furthermore, retailers and wholesalers have been instructed to halt the sale and distribution of any medications bearing the 'Meg Lifesciences' label. They are also mandated to promptly notify the area Drugs Inspector about any such products in their possession.

To combat this issue effectively, the DCA has undertaken rigorous measures, including recent raids resulting in the seizure of counterfeit drugs purportedly manufactured by 'Meg Lifesciences' worth Rs. 33.35 lakhs. Legal action has been initiated against individuals involved in this illicit drug trade.

The DCA emphasizes the importance of public vigilance and encourages individuals to report any information regarding the distribution or sale of drugs associated with 'Meg Lifesciences' to the nearest Drugs Control Administration Office.
